Tower Defense (TD) is a specialized subgenre of strategy video games focused on protecting a player’s territory or assets by thwarting incoming enemy assaults. This is typically accomplished by strategically placing defensive structures—such as towers or traps—along the enemies’ attack routes to impede their progress. For newcomers, a tutorial is usually available during the initial gameplay to help learn the basics and master effective defensive strategies.
